"How Can We Keep From Singing?": Singers Marin 25th Anniversary Concert

Singers Marin and Jan Pedersen Schiff, Founder/Artistic Director and Marin Women’s Hall of Fame 2013 Inductee, will present A Silver Serenade concert: “How Can We Keep from Singing?” at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco on Tuesday, April 23.  Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Singers Marin adult and youth choruses, along with guest ensembles, Branson Chamber Singers, Golden Gate Men's Chorus, Voci Women's Vocal Ensemble, and Mill Valley Philharmonic, will perform selected works by renowned choral composer, Gwyneth Walker, including the World premiere of "The Gospel Ship" for women's and children's chorus, and a West Coast premiere of "The Youthful Traveler."  In addition, the combined 175 adult and teen singers will perform the choral/orchestral masterpiece by Igor Stravinsky, "Symphony of Psalms." Gwyneth Walker will be visiting the bay area from April 21st - 23rd to be a part of this very special event.
