Auditions The Festival Choir of Madison (Madison, WI)

The Festival Choir of Madison is excited to announce auditions for the 2013-2014 season. We have three great concerts this year with works by Benjamin Britten, Henry Purcell, Antonio Vivaldi, and Luigi Boccherini. We will also be collaborating with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra in December 2013, and April 2014 to sing Handel's Messiah and Beethoven's Choral Fantasy. To audition, please come prepared to do the following:

1. Sing a simple folk song of your choosing or "My Country Tis of Thee"
2. Warm up to test your range.
3. Aural recall skills (I will play a unique pattern on the piano and ask you to sing it back)
4. Basic sight-singing skills.
