The GRAMMY-winning Phoenix Chorale closes its season with a weekend of three concerts under the direction of Charles Bruffy featuring some of the greatest music written for or featured in your favorite films. Selections include Samuel Barber’s "Adagio for Strings" (Agnus Dei) from Platoon, Bring Him Home from Les Misérables, Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire, Over the Rainbow fromThe Wizard of Oz, Under the Sea from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Adele's Skyfall and more. The concerts will also feature world premiere performance with a new work by Joan Szymko titled “Remembering.”

Other selections on the concerts include: The Cherubic Hymn (anon), Gabriel's Oboe (Morricone), Moon River (arr. Zegree), O Fortuna (Orff), The Seal Lullaby (Whitacre), and Soul Bossa Nova (Quincy Jones, arr. L'Estrange).
