A part-time, hourly position as a Worship Leader is available at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Irvine. We are looking for a Worship Leader who is a capable lead vocalist, proficient on guitar and/or piano, and comfortable leading a congregation in worship.  This person would work closely with the Pastor of Worship & Outreach in developing worship services that help people experience God in a life-changing way. 

Position Summary:
The Worship Leader is responsible for all aspects of musical worship related to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church’s 9:30am and 11:00am contemporary services, and other special services and events. This includes but is not limited to, leading the congregation in worship, worship service planning and organization, and developing musicians in the worship band, to accomplish Good Shepherd’s vision to know, grow, and show God’s love while passing on the faith to the next generation.

 

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, innovator, and initiator. Their passion for worship, and personal faith in Christ, will be key in deepening and sustaining our worship life at Good Shepherd.
