The Young Women’s Choral Projects of San Francisco, under Artistic Director Susan McMane, is pleased to announce the formation of Allegro Chorus, a new ensemble for young women in 4th through 10th grade.  YWCP’s Allegro Chorus is a place for young singers to improve vocal skills and musicianship and meet other girls who love to sing. Members of this ensemble will receive vocal and musical training, including music theory, ear training, sight-reading, vocal technique, and performance skills.  The Young Women's Chorus of San Francisco, for young women in 7th through 12th grade, is YWCP's premiere ensemble, and is currently finishing its first season with a trip to Italy.  YWCP is holding auditions for both the Young Women’s Chorus and Allegro Chorus on May 18 and June 1, and invites prospective singers and their parents to come to an Open House on May 11 to learn more about the organization and its mission.
