The Minnesota Valley Chorale, an adult mixed community choir, is seeking an Artistic Director. The MVC was founded in the fall of 1978 and continues to bring together highly qualified adult singers from Southern Minnesota to perform some of the finest choral literature. The Chorale’s repertoire is founded on a commitment to perform the great sacred and secular works from the Renaissance and Baroque eras, as well as folk songs, madrigals, spirituals and other significant works.
Duties include;
- Rehearse and conduct  MVC for the 2013/14 concert season, fall(Nov.9 & 10) and spring(April) concerts.

- Conduct voice interviews for potential new members.
- Select and secure repertoire, in collaboration with the chorale standing Music Selection Committee
- Arrange for accompaniment needs (orchestra, solo instrumentalist).  Rehearsal/performance accompanist is on staff.
- MVC Board of Directors is the governing body of the chorale.
Responsibilities for this position will begin this summer with planning for the 2013-14 season. The choir rehearses on Tuesday evening (7-9 PM) on the campus of Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato.
Compensation is $5000 for the 2013/14 season
