Salary Range Depending on Experience:
$8,000-12,090/year; negotiable based on qualifications
Job Description:
Looking for a dynamic music leader with strong leadership and uplifting choral /music directing skills to plan, coordinate and lead music for worship, including directing the choir, ensembles, soloists, and instrumental groups. Keyboard/piano skills desirable. Negotiable hours per week: Sunday services, weekly choir and/or song leader rehearsal, some meetings and other worship services. Transitioning, 80- member Progressive Liberal Christian church of the Gay/Lesbian/Bi/Trans/Straight community and our friends. Traditional/Contemporary/Blended worship service. Opportunity to move into the Music Director position.
Hours:
Up to eight - ten hours per week expected; to be negotiated with the Pastor/Supervisor. Must attend Sunday services and coordinate music for all services.
