Prior to its May program of American Choral music, Princeton Pro Musica will hold a symposium panel discussion. Marjorie Herman of WWFM’s “Sounds Choral” and Dr. Amanda Quist of Westminster Choir College will talk with Princeton Pro Musica’s Artistic Director, Ryan Brandau, about the American Choral Tradition – its roots and its future – and will explore some of the repertoire on their upcoming concert. Their concert on May 19 will feature works by William Billings, Randall Thompson, Samuel Barber, Zachary Wadsworth, and arrangements by Amanda Quist and Ryan Brandau, along with many other fine composers/
The free symposium will be held at the Princeton United Methodist Church, 7 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton, on Monday, May 6 at 7:00pm.
