PCDA Elects 2013-2016 Board of Directors & Regional Coordinators

The Philippine Choral Directors Association elected its new board during the Annual General Assembly on the last day of the PCDA National Convention 2013 in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte last April 16.
 
Leading the PCDA for a three-year term are:
PRESIDENT – Jonathan M. Velasco
VICE PRESIDENT – Eudenice V. Palaruan
SECRETARY – Joy T. Nilo
TREASURER – Beverly Claudine S. Cheng
ARTISTIC BOARD – Anna Tabita A. Piquero, Maria Theresa V. Roldan, Leonyl Clarence O. Torres
 
The new board held its first meeting on April 20 to draw up initial directions and plans for their 3-year term.
 
Also elected were the Regional Coordinators:
Cordillera Administrative Region – Bienvenido B. Constantino Jr.
National Capital Region – Irvinne R. Redor
Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao – Glenn Bydder Sanchez, interim
Region I (Ilocos) – Sherberk F. Cabrales
Region II (Cagayan Valley) – Allan Luga
Region III (Central Luzon) – Luis D. Manalili Jr.
Region IV-A (CALABARZON) – Joel A. Boragay
Region IV-B (MIMAROPA) – Jobert Matchico, interim
Region V (Bicol) – Cris Caryl B. Yu
Region VI (Western Visayas) – Arne Lubasan, interim
Region VII (Central Visayas) – Niño James Bañares
Region VIII (Eastern Visayas) – Jesus Freddy M. Baldos
Region IX (Zamboanga Peninsula) – Virginia Angelita M. Constantinopla
Region X (Northern Mindanao) – Vic Angelo G. Atilano
Region XI (Davao) – Alvin Aviola, interim
Region XII (SOCCSKSARGEN) – Perlyn Joy L. Enriquez
Region XIII (Caraga) – Ronald T. Zagado
 
Regions which were not represented in the 2013 General Assembly in Laoag City have been assigned an interim regional coordinator.  Active members of these regions must reconvene within 2013 to elect their respective coordinator.
