Join the Schoodic Summer Chorus, an unauditioned community chorus

Location: Winter Harbor, Maine, Maine, USA
If you're in Downeast Maine this summer, sing with the Schoodic Summer Chorus at Hammond Hall in beautiful Winter Harbor, Maine. Rehearsals begin Tuesday, May 21.

The Schoodic Summer Chorus is an unauditioned multi-generational a capella community chorus devoted to nurturing musicianship and community, in residence at Hammond Hall in Winter Harbor, Maine, and sponsored by Schoodic Arts for All. Its members share a passion for singing beautiful and unusual music. Directed by soprano and composer Anna Dembska, the chorus is open to anyone who loves to sing.

Our 2013 theme is Simple Gifts, and we'll be travelling musically from Complications to Transformations to Simple Gifts. The music promises to be fun, interesting, and beautiful.

We'll perform at the Schoodic Arts Festival on Monday, July 29, at 7 p.m. at Hammond Hall. We will also have an additional performance at the Cape Split Chapel in Addison, Maine, in mid-August.
