The Belmont Public Schools are currently seeking a director for its after school theater program.  Duties of the theater director include direction of the Fall Play, Broadway Night, Spring Musical and One Act Plays, and the supervision of the Improv Club.  The Theatre Director works closely with the students in the Performing Arts Company, as well as with the parents in our theater boosters organization.

 

The qualified candidate will have demonstrated successful experience directing high school theater programs, and will have experience in technical as well as artistic production.  A B.A. in Theater Arts or Theater Education is preferred.
