The San Fernando Valley Chorus, under the direction of Matthew Park, is presenting their annual spring show called,
"The Great American Journey". The chorus will tour this great country of ours in song, featuring songs from different regions of the country.  The musical styles presented range from "The Soldiers Chorus" from the opera of Faust (New York City Metropolitan Opera House)to the rousing 76 Trombones from the Broadway musical "The Music Man"(representing the state of Iowa)
Featured soloists, Ralph Mauriello (Music of the Night), Ken Weiner (Mr Cellophane), Rodger Chartrand (Heartbreak Hotel)
Two performances - Wednesday, May 15 at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, (3050 E. Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley, Ca.93065) and Saturday, May 18th at the Shepherd of the Valley Luthern Church, (23838 Kittridge St., West Hills. Ca.91307)
$18.00 for adults - $12.00 for children 12 and under.  Reserve tickets at chetdevin@aol.com or if uncertain at the door prior to the concert.
