Hello!

 

My name is Roman and I’m a recent graduate of SUNY Purchase having earned my MASTERS degree in Vocal Performance/Opera Studies. Operatic roles have included Pandolfe, Sarastro/Speaker, Balthazar etc.. I have studied Italian, German, French and Russian/Ukrainian diction and have sung arias and art songs in all 4 languages.

 

I have had over 10 years of experience singing in university, symphonic, civic, and church choirs. I have sung repertoire spanning from the early renaissance up through modern day. This has included large scale works (Mahler 2nd, Verdi Requiem, Carmina Burana) masses (Mozart, Schubert) oratorio (Handel, Haydn, Mendelssohn) and smaller motets and madrigals. I have excellent sight reading skills but most importantly know how to blend within a section and also how to stand out as a soloist.

 

Distance is not an issue; as I have a car and am comfortable driving. I'm also within walking distance from Metro North and know my way around Manhattan.
