Responsibilities:

Accompany services on piano and/or organ, depending on preference of choir director -(Playing both the organ and piano are required)

Accompany choral and praise band rehearsals

Assist the Choir director in building and maintaining the music library

Play for weddings, funerals, and other services as needed (additional one-time compensation is provided for these events)

Meet regularly with the pastor and other staff members

This position will work directly with the choir director and will report to the pastor

Other Duties as assigned

 

-play piano and organ, and possibly other instruments

-service-oriented attitude toward meeting the needs of the church community

-Experience and competency in accompanying church choirs and congregations, including contemporary worship

 

Salary: $5,200 per year
