Founded in 1994, the Milwaukee Children's Choir (MCC) is a non-profit professional children's choral organization that is comprised of over 200, K-12, students from throughout the Greater Milwaukee area.
Milwaukee Children's Choir Mission:
"To give children exceptional choral music instruction and performance experiences that foster creativity, personal expression and social growth."
MCC seeks several experienced professional children's choral directors to join our staff as Associate Music Directors. We are seeking individuals who are experienced in working with children in 3rd-8th grades. Conductors may direct more than one choir if they choose. Possible Choirs: Milwaukee Girlchoir West (3rd-4th graders), Milwaukee Boychoir East (3rd-4th graders), Resident Choir East (5th-8th graders) and Resident Choir West (5th-8th graders).

To apply, send cover letter, resume/CV, 3-5 references, and a sample mock concert program for a treble choir of 3rd-4th grade students. Please write a small description of why you have chosen each piece for these mock concerts. Each mock program should consist of enough music to last 30 minutes in length. If possible, please also submit a video recording of a live performance and/or rehearsal that you conducted (audio recordings will be accepted if video recordings aren't available). This recording may be submitted as a YouTube link or sent on DVD/CD.
