Position: High School Choir Director

Location: North Iredell H.S, Olin NC

Job Description: Full time high school choir director, grades 9-12. North Iredell H.S. is a 3A school with a population of nearly 1100 students. The performing arts department has a strong tradition of excellence and there is a high expectation from the surrounding community that students who enter the program will receive a very high quality music education. The choral program has 180 singers in 5 curricular ensembles and team teach musical with the theatre teacher. The chorus has strong traditions of 4 concerts a year, Madrigal Dinner, All-State, NC Honors Chorus, All County, workshops, festivals and much more. The new choir director will direct all of the ensembles and be in charge of all of the management and responsibilities that entail.

Qualifications: An undergraduate degree in choral music education, choral conducting or music education is a minimum.
