Cordus Mundi Summer Sing - Faure Requiem

Location: Pennsylvania, USA
Voicing: Mixed
Sing Faure This Summer!
Bucks County-based male a cappella group Cordus Mundi will host a Summer Sing session at Trinity Episcopal Church in Solebury, PA on Monday, July 22 @ 7:00 p.m., with reception to follow. Cordus Mundi founder/artistic director Rick Rosen, music director David Fryling, and accompanist Timothy Harrell will lead the assembled singers in exploring and singing French composer Gabriel Faure’s stirring and beautiful Requiem. General admission is $10.00, with a reduced $5.00 charge for students.
Summer Sings are designed for singers of all skill levels; from novice to accomplished professional – all are welcome. Music will be provided free of charge, although singers are welcome to bring their own scores. The conductors will devote a portion of the available time to each section of Faure’s Requiem, with an eye (and ear) toward contributing to a musically gratifying experience for every singer.
“Summer Sings are for everyone,” says Rosen. “There are no auditions, restrictions, or limitations – if you like to sing, if you like Faure, if you’ve ever wanted to ‘sing with the choir’, this is your opportunity!”
