Jubilee United Church in Don Mills announces a paid position for bass soloist and section lead in the senior choir.  Rehearsals Thursday evenings, services Sunday mornings.  The choir performs a wide range of sacred music--on recent Sundays we have sung Gibbons, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Schubert, Handel and Beethoven--in addition to performing two concerts a year. "Carols by Candlelight" fully describes the fall concert (no electricity).  The spring concert alternates secular (this year we performed “An Evening of Gilbert & Sullivan) and sacred (next year we perform Mozart with orchestra).  The position offers the opportunity to perform bass solos as well as ensemble work.  Those interested can get in touch with Music Director Arthur Wenk by email--arthur.wenk@live.com--or by telephone: 905-842-8488.
