Great Stuff Coming -Children's Choir of teh InternetDate: June 3, 2013 Views: 112
Friends,
I appologize for ignoring our community for a while. I have been dealing with many difficulties, some positive, some negative. The good stuff has just culminated in the first public performance of my Children's Choir of teh Internet. My group has grown in this year to include a new and extremely talented co-director named Timothy Keith Griffin Jr. Keith has taken on more of the conducting duties while I have functioned as artistic director and executive.
We will have several very cool videos out shortly. I will start on those once I finish some composing business related to members of this community. Here is a taste of what we have done. This is a cover of Cradle, by the Joy Formidable.

OK friends, here is my latest masterpiece. How many of you grew up with Pokémon on TV, video games and trading cards? Well this video is for you and any older parents who played Pokémon with their kids. Please share this with anyone you think might fit that description. I am very proud of my community choir Children's Choir of the Internet! Greg Bartholomew and Chris Hutchings also got one more performance of the pieces they wrote for my school choir at this festival.

The guest headliner for this festival was CCMC Composer Mike O'Mara. He brought his kids up from Evanston, Illinois to share their talents with my community. It was a great night for CCMC. We brought the community off of the Internet and into real life! It was an incredible event.
Here is Mike's choir singing w00t!, a song from a musical he wrote. It is an appropriate text for an internet relate choir. Mike and I first met because of videos on YouTube.
here's my link I forgot my own guidelines about including that so it shows in your email: http://youtu.be/yf6PXe7D0_c
