Home from ECCO

Dear Folks,
I am home and replete with music from the ECCO conference near Yosemite.  I do hope we can keep connected this year. It was lovely to see y'all, sing, share, and learn from Dr. Boers and all the other wonderful presenters.

I ditto this! It was a great conference. I'm always looking for new repertoire and ideas and happy to share our programming.

Cynthia and Cricket--
So nice to meet you both and I had a great time at ECCO.  Here's the website of a wonderful women's choir in Canada, Elektra.  Their site lists some wonderful repertoire, and their recordings are excellent.

Hi Kate,
I didn't really get a chance to meet you and I wish I had. I've been following the Pacific Women's Chorus for the past several years, and my co-director has attended two of the concerts since she also has a condo in La Jolla and was down at opportune times! I received several good ideas from Kay. We're in the process of developing a website (finally since we're going into our 5th season) and we plan to post all our programs on the website as you do on yours.
I would love to get down and hear the ensemble. Do you have your new schedule yet?
best regards,

We only perform twice a year.  OUr next performance will be in November, probably 11/17.  I plan to attend the Southern Region conference 9/7.  One of the reading sessions is for women's choir, which I sorely need since women's rep is new to me.  Do you plan to attend?

I was out of town for ECCO.  I am a composer who has often written for
women's voices.  (The Peninsula Women's Chorus has recorded several
pieces.)  Here they are singing Let Evening Come.  Here is the San Francisco
Girls Chorus recording of I Shall Keep Singing!
If you would care to see and hear some scores, send me your address.

This was my first time at ECCO.  What a wonderful experience.  Thanks for the beautiful music and great times.
