DePaul University Singers and Caritas Singers

The DePaul University Singers will present "Cathedral Classics" on Sunday, 9/22/13 at 1:30pm at the beautiful National Shrine of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Repertoire to be performed includes, Wilberg, "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty"; Walker, "Psalm 23"; Bairstow, "Like as the hart desireth the waterbrooks"; Paulus, "Pligrims' Hymn"; and Vaughan Williams, "Sine Nomine" among other works.
The University Singers will be joined by the Caritas Singers, a new, professional women's ensemble based in Chicago. The women of Caritas will perform Fauré’s Messe Basse, his motet "Maria, Mater Gratiae" and Ola Gjeilo's "Tundra." Both ensembles are conducted by Dr. Steve Grives.
