The Leipzig Legacy - Bach and His Predecessors

What: Music representing 100 years prior to Bach at the Thomaskirche, showcasing the progression of styles from late-Renaissance to the height of the Baroque period

Schelle "Christus, der ist mein leben"

Kuhnau "Tristis est anima mea" 

Telemann "Concerto Polonois in G" (TWV 43:G7) - (Okay, he didn't have the job, but he was "in the web" during a high period there!) 

J.S. Bach - "Concerto in A minor for Four Harpsichords" (BWV 1065) 

J.S. Bach - "Jesu, der du meine seele" (BWV 78)
