Areté Vocal Ensemble Presents Hymnody of Earth

Location: California, USA

Sunday, November 10 at 2pm in Samuelson Chapel at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.  Areté Vocal Ensemble (Wyant Morton, conductor) joins forces with the Los Robles Children’s Choir, (Edward Rouse, conductor) for a performance of Malcolm Dalglish’s "Hymnody of Earth" for voices, hammer dulcimer and percussion. The music is based on the poetry of Kentucky author Wendell Berry, whose work addresses the importance of community, conservation and common sense.  Tickets are $20 at the door or $15 if purchased online in advance.
