Celebrate the Joy is ProMusica Arizona’s tribute to the season, with music both grand and simple, and guaranteed to touch your heart. The full orchestra and chorale will present the Christmas story, augmented by heart-warming readings and inspirational music including “Silent Night,” Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus,” “Mary, Did You Know,” “Gloria,” "Baby Born a King", Gabrielli's "Hodie Christus Natue Est", Stroope's "There is No Rose" and other beautiful and uplifting sounds of Christmas. Also included: "Lux Aurumque" by Eric Whitacre  and Lauridesen's, "O Magnum Mysterium." This two-act concert features not only soloists and the full orchestra and chorale, but also innovative visual elements and traditional favorites. It is the perfect way to get in the holiday spirit. In addition to becoming a local family tradition since its inception in 2003, PMAZ’s holiday concert is also a wonderful way for groups to celebrate the season. Whether it is your family, your friends, your church group or your business, you and your colleagues will find this concert as the ideal ending to an event or the beginning of a seasonal celebration. Group ticket sales are offered with a 15% discount for groups of 15 or more. If you have special seating needs such as for audience members in wheel chairs, these can also be accommodated.
