Greater South Jersey Chorus presents "One Winter Night"

On Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 15, 2013, the Greater South Jersey Chorus will present “One Winter Night,” a program of seasonal choral music. Works by George Frederick Handel, Anton Bruckner and Benjamin Britten will be included as well as a number of arrangements by Artistic Director Dean Rishel. A highlight of the program will be an appearance by mezzo-soprano Kristina Lewis. A student at the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, Ms Lewis is rising rapidly in the opera world. She will perform an aria from “Messiah”, as well as new arrangements by Maestro Rishel of “Panis Angelicus” and “Lully, Lullay” for soloist and chorus.
The December 7 performance will take place at 8:00 PM at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church in Marlton, NJ. The December 15 performance will be presented at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Cherry Hill, in Cherry Hill, NJ, at 3:30 PM. Tickets are $20 for adults; children under 14 are admitted free.
