Southwestern Division Conference: River City Men’s Chorus
Date: February 28, 2014
During the 2014 Southwestern Division Conference, ACDA will present . . .
RIVER CITY MEN’S CHORUS
River City Men’s Chorus (RCMC) was founded in 2002 by thirty-five men who shared a passion for great male choral music. Since that time, under the direction of David Glaze, it quickly grew to sixty members. Bound not only by a love of great music but also by a camaraderie known to few groups, the men of the chorus work toward a common goal: cultural enrichment through the enjoyment of musical excellence. RCMC is a volunteer organization with few professional musicians. Membership is by invitation and audition only, and they strive to maintain a diversity of repertoire and talent. RCMC has the enthusiastic support of a varied audience and a gifted board of directors and is a non-profit organization with tax-exempt status. Not only has the chorus enjoyed such incredible community support from concert-goers, but they have been honored to perform in a number of prestigious venues for events such as the opening of the Clinton Presidential Library, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and singing for mass at St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City.
The ACDA Southwestern Division Conference will take place March 19-22, 2014, in Little Rock, Arkansas. You can register NOW.
