Hawaii Performing Arts Festival - Vocal Auditions
Date: January 13, 2014
Location: Hawaii, USA
The Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, an inspirational training/performance program on Hawai'i's beautiful Big Island, is holding auditions for its 10th Anniversary Season (July 6-28, 2014).
We are currently seeking singers ages 14 to 35 to fill tiered training programs and cast in this season's operas, recitals and masterclasses.
Student participants will train closely in regular lessons, classes and coachings with master instructors as they prepare their festival performance repertoire. With approximately 40 students and a vocal program staff of 17, students truly receive a significant level of individual attention - and of course, there's still time left over for exploration of the island and the natural beauty it has to offer. Operas being considered for this season include Britten's "Turn of the Screw," Handel's "Giulio Cesare," and Viardot's "Cendrillon."
Audition Dates and Locations:
Oklahoma City: January 25, 2014
Los Angeles: February 2, 2014
New York: March 1, 2014 AND March 4, 2014
