Cleaning house advice?

Our church (Disciples of Christ) is in the process of moving out of our current structure for demolition and building a new facility. Therefore, I've got to clean out the choir room and determine what needs to be stored, sold, and trashed.  Has anyone had to do this before? What advice might you have regarding how much rep. to keep, etc.? The building was built in 1927 and I don't think the library has ever been culled. I've put out offers to local churches for free music, as I feel bad throwing out material that someone might be able to use.
