The celebrated all-male ensemble was invited to perform at the televised LA County Holiday Celebration at the prestigious Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. The Los Angeles County Arts Commission invited the group to LA’s longest running musical community tradition after its impressive performance at the Ford Amphitheatre last June 2013. By year’s end, the Harana has lent it talents in several typhoon fundraisers around Los Angeles.

Due to the Harana’s growing popularity and proud representation of Filipino culture and artistry, Philippine Patrons of the Arts USA, a non-profit which supports emerging artists, invited the Harana Men’s Chorus to help raise funds through a pre-Valentine concert in a locale that has yet to enjoy a live performance by the group. The residents of Ventura County shall be treated to a wide variety of popular and fun songs, which include Tagalog love songs, American standards and the requisite moonlight serenade, the Harana, along with audience favorites from the Jersey Boys and the operatic spoof “Italian Salad.” Special guest is Annie Nepomuceno.
Sponsors are the Rotary Club of Ventura South, LA18’s Kababayan Today, Island Pacific Supermarket, Music Arts Events, Larry and Yolli Antonio, Dan & Jessi Maya, and Noel & Evita San Jose.
