There are still two open space for two excellent choirs at IFAS 2014. Please receive our invitation. We would be very glad if your choir could come. The deadline was on 31.1.2014. We prolong this for you to 28.2.2014.

we are glad to invite you to participace in 23rd bien-finale of the International Festival of Academic Choirs IFAS Pardubice

IFAS 2014, the Czech Republic,  from 4 July to 9 July 2014.

• A1 - mixed choirs with a required composition (min. 25 singers)
• A2 - mixed chamber choirs with a required composition (max. 24 singers)
• A3 - women’s choirs with a required composition
• B1 - folklore
• B2 - folklore of choir’s nation
• C1 - compositions of one style of art music - e.g. Renaissance or Baroque music, sacred music, etc.
• C2 - jazz, pop, spirituals, gospel
• BM - Bohuslav Martin? category
Conditions of participation in each category are regulatedby Propositions and Competition Rules.
Festival IFAS has newly added a free Competition of Bohuslav Martin? award which is intended for all kinds of choirs (except for children choirs) and has made it accessible even in other categories (B1, B2, C1, C2)

Category A with chance of participation in Grand Prix is thought for the following choirs of

1. universities and colleges
2. college-level vocational schools, higher education schools
3. or in which at least 75% of the membership is between the ages of 18 and 30
