THE HAUNTED PALACE (1845) by Edgar Allan Poe, SATB a cappella, 6:10
Date: March 23, 2014
This poem is typical of Poe's many fantastic writings full of horror and evil. Its six stanzas tell the story
of a richly appointed castle presided over by a benign king and sited in a utopian valley, which is invaded and doomed by evil spirits.
SATB a cappella, 6:10, moderately difficult.
All my music is written in Sibelius, so professional scores in PDF or hard copy are readily available, as well as mp3 files of the Sibelius
audio (as many of you know, choral parts are only "oooo"s).
Please have a look a some of my other choral works on my ChoralNet page, and inquire about other titles.
