Alleluia! O virga mediatrix - six-part mixed chorus, a cappella - free

Here's a new setting of Hildegard von Bingen's Alleluia! O virga mediatrix.

Language: Latin. Duration: around 2 minutes. It's in six parts with no divisi, so it would also suit a sextet. There's plenty of unison and octave writing that should be reasonably straightforward; however, there are passages of close harmony that could challenge some ensembles. Stylistically it's probably "mildly modern" – hopefully not scary!

I've put together a follow-the-score video with Matthew Curtis multitracking all the parts.

Please email me for a PDF of the sheet music – this may be used for performances free of charge.

Here's the video of a recent performance by Kantorei of Kansas City, conducted by Chris Munce.
