Classical Movements is proud to announce the next U.S. Tour of the exceptional Coro Entrevoces from Cuba, directed by Digna Guerra.
Entrevoces, winner of multiple international prizes and contests, celebrates its 30 years with a tour to share the choir’s vocal richness and wide repertoire. Acknowledged around the world for its stunning vocal artistry, Entrevoces is known in particular for its interpretation of diverse styles from Spanish Renaissance polyphony to contemporary Cuban and Latin-American folksongs. Entrevoces is also one of the premier interpreters of Cuban vocal works, both traditional and modern, and continues to represent Cuban choral music and its high standards of music around the world.
Previous tours include travels to Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Canada, among other countries. Entrevoces was awarded first prize at the Havana Chamber Music Competition as well as at the Concurso de Masas Corales in Tolosa, Spain, where they were also awarded the Audience Pick Prize. Under the direction of Professor Digna Guerra, the choir has also recorded the first choral DVD to be produced in Cuba and have produced several award-winning CDs.
