Keep your sight singing skills sharp this summer (San Francisco)

Score Reading for Singers with Sven Edward Olbash

Each 3-hour workshop will focus on strategies and techniques for sight-singing choral scores while exploring a major a cappella work. Summer 2014 repertoire includes St. John Passion (Schütz), Stabat Mater (D. Scarlatti), Four chorale motets (Herzogenberg), Songs of Farewell (Parry), Magnificat in Bb(Stanford), Mass in G minor (Vaughan Williams), Four motets on Gregorian themes (Duruflé), Messe en style ancien (Langlais), and The Peaceable Kingdom(Thompson). Concepts will be presented non-sequentially, so feel free to drop in for a single workshop at any time.

5-week session $80 / $20 drop-in. Limited to 24 singers.
