Voice class for Choral Singers (San Francisco)

Session 1: June 4–July 7, 2014
Session 2: July 21–August 20, 2014

This 2-hour class is perfect for beginners who would like to learn healthy vocal technique, as well as for intermediate singers who want more solo singing experience. Each class will begin with a group vocal warm-up followed by solo performance opportunities and individual feedback in a master class setting. Bring two copies of the song you would like to work on, or ask for repertoire suggestions for your voice type.

Sven Edward Olbash has taught voice at New England Conservatory and is currently on the Teaching Artist staff at San Francisco Opera. He is in demand as a guest clinician and has given workshops in vocal technique and diction for SF Choral Society, SF Lyric Opera and Piedmont Boys and Girls Choirs, and is a graduate of the School for the Arts at Boston University.

5-week session $80 / $20 drop-in. Limited to 12 participants per session and 4 performers per class.
