Mission Statements for non-profits: What's Yours?

Hey ChoralNet!
What is your mission statement?  A friend recently linked a useful article in the composer's community where I have been seeking assistance.
After reading that and the very consice mission statement of the Nashville Singers: "to enrich lives through singing and the support of music education" shared with me by director Todd Wilson (thanks), I would like examples of mission statements from music non-profits.   Any such examples would be useful but if any of you run a music organization that is not limitted to a single choir that would be especially interesting.   Our organization supports many ensembles, community music events, theatrical productions and encourages composers.

The Choristers - a 55 - 65 voice auditioned concert choir in the northwestern suburbs of Philadelphia, PA.
The mission of The Choristers is to foster an appreciation of music within the community by offering performances of challenging and/or unjustly neglected choral works at a high standard of musicianship.
The choir accomplishes this mission by:

• Promoting the sense of community that the arts can create when people come together to rehearse, perform, hear and experience a concert.

• Providing singers the opportunity to use and expand their musical abilities through rehearsals, education and performances of great choral works.

• Maintaining a high level of choral competence within a supportive environment that acknowledges the discipline needed to learn and perform such works.
