We hope you and your choir will join us for the exciting 10th Festival, which will include:

 

• NEW CHORAL COMPETITION CATEGORY:  Rounding out the Folk/Historical and Contemporary competitions is our new category - Spiritual and Gospel, adjudicated by the award winning Terrence Kelly, Artistic Director of the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir
 
• OPTIONAL VOCAL SOLO COMPETITION: Competitions in Children’s Vocal Solo and Youth Vocal Solo
 
• WORLD CLASS ADJUDICATORS:  MarÍa Guinand (Venezuela), Aarne Saluveer (Estonia), Judit Hartyányi (Hungary), Elise Bradley (Canada), and Terrance Kelly (USA)
 
• NEW MUSIC: Commissions and world premieres composed especially for the Festival Chorus 
 
• PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES: New and exciting performance venues and Spotlight Concerts throughout the San Francisco Bay Area
 
• EVENT HIGHLIGHTS: Special Opening Ceremonies concert to launch the Festival, world renowned guest artists, competitions, and Closing Ceremony, and celebration
 
• SIGHTSEEING: See gorgeous views of the San Francisco Bay on an exciting Bay Cruise and the week’s free time exploring the Bay Area

 

• EARLY NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE may be requested with your application until August 31, 2014. Applications received after August 31, will be notified after November 1, 2014.
