The First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City seeks applicants for the position of Director of the Treble Choir, a choir for children in grades 3-5. This is a paid, part-time position.
The Treble Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings, 6:15-6:55pm, from late August through early May. The Treble Choir sings in Sunday morning worship services approximately twice each month.
The Director of the Treble Choir will select music, prepare and rehearse the children, and conduct the choir during worship services. The Director will work with the First Presbyterian Church Music Director to manage the ensemble, including scheduling and recruitment. The Treble Choir has a volunteer accompanist.
Applicants should be strong musicians who enjoy working with children. Strong leadership skills, a collaborative spirit, a positive attitude, and the ability to self-motivate are important for this position.
