Justine Koontz

Location: Indiana, USA
Seventh generation Marylander Justine Koontz is a composer, conductor, and classical guitarist. Her compositions and arrangements have been performed on the campuses of McDaniel College, Peabody Institute, The Johns Hopkins University, Lehigh University, and the Xian Conservatory, China. Additionally, her music has been performed at the 2010 Festival of Women Composers and the 2012 World Choir Games in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ms. Koontz received her B.A. in music theory and composition with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude) at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland, where she studied composition and choral arranging, classical guitar, conducting, and liberal arts.  She is currently pursuing an M.M in choral conducting at Butler Univeristy in Indianapolis.  When she is not composing, practicing or in a rehearsal, she is likely pursuing one of many hobbies.
