Conductor, composer, singer, lover of all things choral...

 

Recently retired Professor of Choral Studies and Conducting, Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama USA. and conductor of the Samford University A Cappella Choir.  After 34 years on the Samford faculty, Tim Banks now enjoys his retiree status at the University, while working in the music festivals business and as a free-lancing conductor/composer in all of the areas of the music world.

Tim Banks has accepted the appointment as Artistic Director and Conductor for the Birmingham-based choral ensemble Colla Voce, beginning in the Fall 0f 2011.    Plans are now under way for the new season.
