Ruby Agnir

I have been a church choir musician for the past 60 years or so. This means I have devoted my life to church music -- as minister of music, music coordinator, (pipe) organist, soloist, and most especially choir director.

My husband and I moved to Wesley Chapel, Florida to retire, after 30 years in Western Massachusetts. As the Lord would have it, I got out of retirement to answer a call for help at a church in the area. They had lost their choir director and their keyboardist did not want to do both jobs of directing and accompanying. It was a call for help and I felt that it was a call from God to serve a church once more. It certainly was for I have never been happier than I am with this church.

I am a new member of the American Choral Directors Association and am proud of it.
