Iñigo Igualador

Location: Spain
Born in Valladolid (Spain). He began his musical studies of piano and later studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid where he obtained the postgraduate diploma in the Pedagogy of Music Theory and Conducting orchestral specialties.
The first steps in the direction were early. He joined as a singer in one of the choral groups in his hometown and was conductor's assistant until 1995. That same year he was appointed musical conductor of the Youth Orchestra "Allegro Assai" of Castilla y León, a first-class cultural project intended to become the basis for an important pedagogical work that will allow the training of young musicians from Castilla y León.
In 1996, he was hired assistant Conductor of the Choir "Capilla Clásica" of Valladolid. Since January 2003, is the Principal Conductor. In 2004 he recorded a CD tribute to the twentieth anniversary of the entity.
He received master classes from Martin Schmidt, Jordi Mora, Antonio Moya, Vasco Negreiros, Inma Arroyo. With a grant from the regional government, he received master classes in Italy from Yuri Ahronovich (with the collaboration of the Philharmonia Orchestra di Roma) and Antoni Ros-Marbà in Barcelona (with the collaboration of the Vallès Symphony Orchestra)
In 2006 to mark the 250th anniversary of Mozart, he worked as guest conductor of L'ensemble vocal et instrumental Concerto 91 offering a series of concerts in Paris.
Has studied harmony, analysis and composition with Enrique Igoa, Alicia Diaz, Benet Casablancas, Luis Angel de Benito, Alejandro Roman and Eneko Vadillo among many other teachers. Has many vocal and instrumental compositions premiered both inside and outside Spain. In 2007 he composed music for the film "The superheroes of mediation" by Antonio Sastre. In 2008 has won the second prize in IX Choral Composition "Ciudad de Getafe" with the work "Rimas".
He was professor of orchestra and chamber music at the Conservatory of Music of Palencia, Burgos and now in C.E.M "Pianisimo" of Valladolid.
