Conductor Jung Csuy: She is a resident of Mesa Arizona. She earned a bachelor of arts in vocal performance while in Korea. She continued her education at ASU with another bachelor’s degree in piano performance and music education. After that, she received her master’s degree from ASU in choral conducting/music education. She has studied under Dr. George Umberson, Director of School of Music at Arizona State University (ret.), Dr. Gregory Gentry, Director of Choral Performance at ASU School of Music, James Jordan, Westminster College Choir Director, Charles Bruffy, Artistic Director of Phoenix Chorale, Bruce Chamberlain, University of Arizona Director of Music, Sabine Horstman, Instructor of Group Vocal Technique and voice at the Robert-Schumann Music University in Dusseldorf, Germany, and Weston Noble, internationally known music educator and conductor. She also studied Voice Management Techniques under Dr. Anat Keidar and Voice Science and Pedagogy under Dr. Scott McCoy.
As of June 2008 she has served as the Music Director at Love of Christ Lutheran Church. She leads the Chancel Choir, Women’s Ensemble, Alleluia Ringers, and Summer Children’s Chime Choir. She also directs Christmas and Easter Cantatas annually. She is a member of American Choral Directors Association and Music Teachers National Association since 2004.
