Shane Wuebben currently teaches vocal music at Memorial Middle School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His teaching experience includes kindergarten through high school and courses such as general music, choral ensembles, humanities, and directing musical theater. In addition, he teaches voice privately. He is very active as choral director at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. He is a member of the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
Mr. Wuebben holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music education with emphasis in choral and instrumental music from Augustana College, Sioux Falls where studied voice with Dr. Monty Barnard and choral conducting with Dr. James R. Johnson. He completed a Masters of Education degree from the University of Sioux Falls in educational leadership and is currently pursuing a second M. Ed major in educational technology. His professional memberships include ACDA, MENC, and NEA/SDEA/SFEA. He currently serves as treasurer for South Dakota’s chapter of the American Choral Directors Association.
Mr. Wuebben enjoys living in Sioux Falls, attending events at the Washington Pavilion, reading, and spending time with his cat, Figaro. He has been very lucky to travel overseas five times and looks forward to his next travels.
