CORO! is a semi-professional chorus based in the Minneapolis/St/ Paul Metro. We are truly an ‘ensemble of soloists,’ and a 'chorus of great vocal power.' CORO! was envisioned specifically for those singers who don’t fit into the mold of the ‘Midwest Choral sound’ –solo vocalists and choristers, whose own personal maturity, vocal size, or desire to sing the great works of both the Lyric Stage as well as great Choral Music have not been met by the extant choral groups in the Twin Cities Metro Area.

 

Created in 2007 by two local Vocal Pedagogues, CORO! is directed by its Artistic founder, Dr. John-Scott Moir. CORO’s growth and recognition among audiences and colleagues has been phenomenal.
