Thomas is a graduate of Cheyney University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and has a dual career in scientific medicine, public health science, and music. She obtained a Master of Science degree in Medical Biology from the C. W. Post College of Long Island University, a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Technologic University of Santiago, and Doctoral work in Anatomy from New York University. She has working experiences in medicine and the physical sciences as a public health physician at the Moscoso Puello Hospital [Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic], analytical microscopy at Hercules, Inc., research in immunology at Morehouse School of Medicine, an Adjunct Professor at Baltimore City Community College, a member of Morgan State University's Complementary and Alternative Medicine [CAM] Advisory Board, and is an active researcher in the areas of ecosystemology and interdisciplinary academia. Present work with music centers around being a versatile musician for musical composition, performance, and multimedia productions. Some of her musical compositions are choral arrangements for Lift Every Voice and Sing [symphonic form], Let Us Break Bread Together, If I Can Help Somebody, and The Seventh Vibration, a symphonic work for choir and orchestra [refer to "music webpage"].
