Director of Vocal Development for the Sun Valley Summer Symphony Department of Music Education.

This means basically that I work with children and youth in grades 4-8, directing groups and teaching voice to older kids.

I introduce them to the joys of music and work closely with our local school district.  Our goal is to reach students who might never have the chance to connect with and experience music and to encourage them to particpate in the school music programs.

I love our mission and what we do.

 

Personally, I'm a mezzo soprano who has sung since childhood and have professional theatre, stage, solo concert touring and recording experience.  45 years on stage, which is hard to believe :)  Guess I'm getting old!
