Seth Garrepy is a choral director, composer, and classroom technologist from Connecticut, USA. As a director, he specializes in a cappella contemporary and small-ensemble choral music, as well as sacred choral Early Music. His genre du jour as a composer are intimate, small-form a cappella works based on texts of classical, Biblical, or self-made origins. With an extensive background in professional IT as an added strength, experiences in Seth’s classroom are media-rich and leverage the latest in new learning media.
Seth is presently Instructor of Music with Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City, OK, where he develops curricula and teaches online music and media management courses. He holds his B.Mus. degree in Composition from Oral Roberts University (summa cum laude) and his M.Mus. in Choral Conducting from the University of Oklahoma, where he studied under Early Music scholar Dr. Robby Greenlee.
