I am a Vocal Therapist/Voice Teacher/Performance Coach/Singer/Writer working in Chicago with adults, mostly singers and songwriters, to help enhance their voices, their voice use, and their vocal satisfaction and creativity in their lives. I am writing my first of three books on Rak Vocal Care, in submission, and am excited to have just begun my Rak Vocal blog, RakVocal Sings! http://rakvocal.wordpress.com -- I am pleased to be sharing 'vocally' with a wider world of singers. I hail from upstate New York, and spent my favorite years in Boston, especially singing in the Chorus pro Musica, and the Ralph Farris Chorale, and all through the New England area as a soloist, then as Sheryl McDonnell. Studying voice and Vocal Pedagogy with Iride Pilla, head of the Voice Department, and Vocal Therapy with David Blair McClosky, at the Boston Conservatory of Music were my wondrous voice times. I have enjoyed singing and sharing the singing bug with singers!!
