Sharon Basinger Lehman

Sharon Basinger Lehman is a graduate of Bluffton University in Bluffton, OH. She holds a BA degree in Music Education. Sharon is the choral director for both performing choirs of the Children’s Choir of Huntington County (CCHC) and teaches a music enrichment class through CCHC for children in the first and second grade. She has also served as an interim choral director for the Fort Wayne Children's Choir. Sharon has taught elementary and middle school general music and has worked with children in various settings such as church choirs, summer camps, Bible schools, and music festivals. She has completed Level 3 of the Creating Artistry Conductor's Workshop facilitated by Mr. Henry Leck of the Indianapolis Children's Choir. Sharon is a member of the LaFontaine Arts Council in Huntington and also holds membership in the National Association for Music Education and the American Choral Directors Association. She is a substitute music teacher for the Huntington County Community School Corporation and lives in Huntington with her husband and three children.
